Sumptuous food, immaculately presented, served brilliantly with a smile! We booked for an Easter brunch, and our family was greeted and treated with unparalleled warmth. We ordered smashed avo on toast, eggs royale (salmon), grilled chicken burger, and a mini Irish breakfast. And a family favourite belgium waffle to finish. All dishes were served in a rustic style, generous portion sizes, packed with oodles of flavour. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed all presentations, every bite, and every interaction with staff. We'd love to come again, and would highly recommend Rustic Roots to anyone staying in or passing by Athlone.

Impeccable service! The place is small but cozy and tastefully decorated. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious – I tried the Irish Stew and it was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this lovely spot!

Everything about this place is amazing!! From the moment we stepped in everything was phenomenal, the artwork on the wall to the beautiful booth we were seated in. The menu has amazing gluten free and vegan options. My dining partner and I both got the full Irish vegetarian breakfast. I had the cranberry juice and my dining partner had the açaí smoothie. Any time we are back in Athlone, we will be coming here!! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

I absolutely loved this place! The restaurant is super cute with a warm and inviting ambiance. The food was simply delicious— packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Slow cooked short rib was out of this world and the Guinness chocolate cake sublime. Staff were beyond kind and friendly. Thank you so much! Had a lovely day and would totally recommend and come back again.
